Hi Neighbors! I’m here in Carlsbad.

Are you prepared for the Big One?

I was just watching the Padres game on MLB TV. I wonder if they noted it there.

I could run from most hurricanes in Fl, but this crazy earth moving stuff is not something I’ve figured out how to deal with as of yet. :)

This was a nasty one, 5.7 but at least it didn’t reach 7.2 as seeks ago.

We will be getting aftershocks with this one.
Yes, I bet the cats were nervous.

They’re saying it was an aftershock from the 7.2 on April 4 in that same area.

Hi Happy,

I’m normally in Albuquerque, but am out here on vacation with hubby, grandson and a friend from NC. Grandson is a little excited :-) He’s 7 and getting a kick out of seeing everyone post about the earthquake. He usually lives in AK.

Uhhhh, it’s your post.

BTW, if it’s not more than 5.6 it won’t even wake me.

These quakes are more frequent than any I’ve experienced since moving here in the 1970s.

Something is shaking loose - maybe a waterway on the border; that will solve some problems !

My mother and sister moved out here in southern CA back in the mid 70’s and the Easter quake was the worst one she could remember in the last 30 years.
