I heard on the radio this morning that some of the black stations were talking about Green being black and Rawls being white. I don’t know if that true but it would explain how Green won and why there were disparities in the returns from different areas.

South Carolina Democrats doing what they do best- lynch blacks. Whether it was stringing them up in the trees of the UpState, or lynching a black veteran's political career.

I think the SC Dems cut their teeth as kids on blowing up churches and burning crosses, then spent their adolescence burning flags and spitting on troops coming back from Vietnam- this explains their hatred and hostility towards a black Army veteran.

Deflecting the real story which is the voters thought he was more incompetent and less of a candidate then the person who won. The winner is so unqualified, as a candidate, that he is now being protested and the election is being contested by an even less competent looser.

If the South Carolina democrats were smart, they'd do everything to support Mr. Greene for Senate. This year, it wouldn't matter who they put up there, because Jim DeMint is going to win big anyway. At least they could be seen as supporting the black candidate, and it might help turnout later.

However, South Carolina Demorats have NEVER been smart...from trying to start a Civil War against Andrew Jackson, to actually starting a Civil War 30 years later, to fighting against Civil Rights for African-Americans a 100 years later, now to this 21st Century Political Lynching.
