Even so, that doesn’t make it right.
Just because the taxpayers in Australia get stuck with the tab doesn’t make it any better than if the taxpayers of the US gets stuck with it.
And that doesn’t even address the shipping boat that spend extra fuel, risked their lives, and lost income for their part in this.
