Let her fulfill her dream at 18 and nobody cares whether its a float around the globe or the skin flick.

Or she could just go at 16 with her parents permission and the self-righteous nanny staters who are angry that a human would dare take a risk they wouldn't consider could just shut their mouths and let the girl define her own limitations.

“Or she could just go at 16 with her parents permission and the self-righteous nanny staters who are angry that a human would dare take a risk they wouldn’t consider could just shut their mouths and let the girl define her own limitations.”

You forgot your previous requirement “With all safety precautions taken....” which would undoubtedly include a look at the calendar and the prevailing sea conditions in the Indian Ocean.

You are the most angry about this. You, along with the Sunderlands ignore the danger that the inevitable rescue entails for the rescuers.

If it is adventure and challenging the human body and spirit that she craves, perhaps she should join the sea rescue teams.

If it is attention and a reality TV show she seeks it’s too late - she’s already spent her 15 minutes of fame. Nobody cares about her anymore - at this point she’s another clueless spoiled brat that thinks that a pink unicorn is going to crap cash so she can “chase her dream”.

You could send them some cash. They seem to need it.
