Balderdash. They would join the Big Sky Conference if there was more TV revenue involved. This is all about money and any posturing to the contrary is simply excuse-making. But to that point, I don't see that the fans of these Oklahoma/Texas schools will like Pacific time-zone games... and for the couple of times each year that this happens, they sure won't want to travel that far. Much better for them to go East to Arkansas, LSU, and maybe even Mississippi.

Agreed that money is the leading factor in all of this but don't forget that power has a direct correlation to money. UT has been the big dog in the B12 since 1996 - that would not be the case in the SEC. By leading the charge of several schools from the B12 to the Pac10/16, they would be a power broker that could set the agenda to their favor.
