Leave it to you to carry the liberal media's water.
You think the AP cares about the Tea Party? They are trying to split the conservatives from Palin.
Branstad is not a RINO. He served 16 years before as Iowa's Governor and did a great job. The Tea Party candidate who was endorsed by Huckabee lost the race twice before.
She just endorsed Korster & Didier in WA state who are solid conservatives.
But if you feel that her endorsement of McCain (nevermind that many of Palin supporters understand the endorsement and will still support JD) makes her a RINO then I can't change your mind.

Triple-E, think about this:
Sarah Palin's own words:
"Long before the summer of 2008, I respected the man known as the 'maverick of the Senate.' From up in the Last Frontier state, I'd watched with deep admiration as he fought tirelessly against wasteful spending and corruption. I was inspired by his willingness to buck his political party - and even his president - to do what he believed was right for this country."

"The point here is that Senator McCain and I agree on the big picture, where it is that the country needs to go. There are so many challenges facing America right now, and Senator McCain has been on the right track trying to get the country back on that track that will lead to more prosperity, more security for this nation."

If Sarah Palin "agrees on the big picture" with McCain, you can be damn sure that picture is not a conservative picture because we ALL know that McCain has spent his political career giving reach arounds to his fellow RINOs and the 'Rats across the aisle, reserving his most poisonous venom not for the GOP's political adversaries, not for 'Rats, leftists and liberals of all stripes, but for conservatives!. McCain has stabbed conservatives in the back and p*ssed on us from time immemorial!
And Sarah Palin says that McCain is "on the right track" and she's right there by his side urging everyone to get their ticket punched and get on board.
Listen up Triple-E, that RINO-train is bound for HELL and only a fool would want to ride THOSE rails.

The left has always had their useful idiots. I suspect they also have some of ours. Voting for the mythological perfect over the available good is a useful idiot. You made many good points that should be obvious to a mature conservative by now.
