Don’t forget about the Black Churches that put out the free advertising to side with Greene.

No matter what the Democrats do now...they basically destroy the party “trust” mechanism for the next two years. Everybody is going to register as a Democrat and vote for the number two or three guy....so the primary business is a total joke from this point on.

I attended the Texas Libertarian delegate conference yesterday in Austin as a guest of a friend who's running for the state senate. It's interesting that they don't hold primaries for all the reasons we've seen with the tampering in the Pub/Rat primaries.

The state officers elect a proportionate number of district delegates to cast their informed vote for the best candidates in contested races (about 100+ delegates for 33 districts - very manageable size for the 2nd most populous state). The proper paperwork must be done first by the candidate, then in the convention, candidates with the proper filings must get nominated by a delegate and a delegate must also go on the record to vouch for them.

It had a lot of transparency and oversight. I don't see any way to tamper with the voting process. The only fraud that could occur would be for the nominees to try to buy votes from the elected delegates, and as soon as the first or 2nd offer was made, it would blow up in their face.

Don't make stuff up. Greene did no campaigning, and nobody campaigned for him, few even knew he was running. He was just a name on the ballot.
