Wouldn’t it be up to 10 Downing this time to invite her? Afterall she is a private citizen.

I have been of the opinion that Sarah wasn’t going to run but this story does give me pause.

I wonder if John O’Sullivan may have been involved in setting this up. He’s an admirer of Palin and he’s close to the Baroness...used to work for her.

I’m glad she is going. Maybe she can salvage our relations with a former great ally the UK.

That statement by the Brits is pretty loaded, if you think about it. If they expected her people to set up a meeting with Cameron, they are treating her as if she were already a head of state. Even more subtle a hint is in this line:
“Mr Cameron would have to decide whether to pose for photographs with her on the steps of Nbr 10, invite her in through the back door  or meet her elsewhere more discreetly.”
Palin’s influence and recognition abroad is so striking that the British Prime Minister is asking for an “unofficial” (not-very-hidden) meeting with her.

Her endorsement of Terry Branstad for governor here in Iowa, was a very strong sign to me she is running.
There was not a logical reason for her to do that; except to call in favors down the road in 2012.

Ya gotta realize, the Simon Walters's of the moribund UK media are the same wankers who teabag moslems for a living, and call it multiculturalism.

Begad! That deuced, demmed, controversial Mrs. Palin! (Would they call 0bama controversial? I get into controversy with people about him all the time.)

Hillary’s “anointed” status wasn’t earned. It was a gift from the media and from Bill, over the years.
Sarah’s popularity comes from recognition by everyone that she’s actually done things. Because it’s not an artificial anointment, it won’t break easily.

"That statement by the Brits is pretty loaded, if you think about it. If they expected her people to set up a meeting with Cameron, they are treating her as if she were already a head of state." The Brits can read: They know Mr. Obama is a one-term failure along the lines of President Carter and that Governor Sarah Palin is our next president. I don't think most of them are buying the hopium anymore.

BTW SCP, Palin posted a note on her FB page today noting today was the anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s speech at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the “tear down this wall” speech. While FR was down, I watched it again at the link she posted. What a marvelous trip back in time.

Nile Gardiner, Ph.D. who was part of the Thatcher adm.
Director, Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom
Nile Gardiner is Director of The Heritage Foundation’s Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom

Excellent news.
I would suggest that she should also try to schedule a meeting with Japan's best post-war Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi.
