Loved this barfworthy line:
In US Republican folklore Thatcher and Reagan brought down the Soviet Union between them.
Granted, the Pope was a a major player but folklore? LOLOL.

She doesn’t strike me as complacent—she’s everywhere, getting involved (for the better) in everything!

“Controversial” is one of those media buzzwords that allows them to marginalize people they don’t like. People with political beliefs the MSM dislikes are labeled “controversial,” which is shorthand for “scares the children.”
Well you beat me to the punch! Typical leftwng bias trashing those they don’t like.

Gee, the writer didn't give away the fact that he hates Palin or has an agenda until the first word of his diatribe.

From the article...
"In US Republican folklore Thatcher and Reagan brought down the Soviet Union between them."
Folklore? No bias there!
Except that for many of us the "folklore" includes Pope John Paul II and the Polish Solidarity movement.

“Im not sure they know who David Cameron is.”
Whoever said that meant to insult Palin, but completely missed the mark and skewered Cameron. LOL!

Ditto JP-II who was a part of the triumphant trio (with Reagan & Thatcher) that led the fall of the Soviets. As another poster above mentioned, Kohl also was involved and Leik Walesa was an amazing hero to Poland's freedom.

Okay, why would they need to contact Number Ten? Or even visit it? I wasn’t aware former governors were required to drop in on the PM before they visited whom they really wanted to. And surely Lady Thatcher can receive visitors at her own home or offices, and (all things considered) quite likely would be more at ease doing so there. Even if this were merely a photo op, I’d think the important part would be getting the picture with Lady T, not the door at her old residence.

Sarah Palin is ALREADY the heir to Ronald Reagan. This article is some sort of attempt to set up a straw man argument in which, in the end, Palin is somehow rejected by Thatcher which means Romney is the heir to Ronald Reagan or whoever it is these lamestreamers in Britain want The One to run against in 2012. Sorry, lamers. No sale. Go back to bed and have another wet dream.

But I hope Palin doesnt get too complacent about being the anointed one. That's the writer's bias. Palin is not an egotistical type person.
To: kristinn
not sure they know who David Cameron is.This "person" could teach Snarky 101.

Too bad there isn’t a “like” button, the way there is on Facebook ... if there were, I’d “like” this in a heartbeat (as I do already).

That statement by the Brits is pretty loaded, if you think about it. If they expected her people to set up a meeting with Cameron, they are treating her as if she were already a head of state.

Yeah they make it all seem like she’s convinced she will be the nominee and I’m not even sure she is running.
