From the hand of a man who believed in the Constitution, Life and Liberty, to the willing hand of a woman who will return these treasures once again to the United States of America. I believe this with every fiber of my being.
In fact, it's a shade better than mere belief. Per every observation I've made over the last 24 months or so, it appears that she will be our next president.
And that gives me great comfort.

My, my. Palin is getting some very good advice. I’d love to know from whom, because this is a very astute move. It’s quite a contrast to the hapless fumbling the McCain campaign showed us. And yes, if she should happen to drop into Tel Aviv every liberal media parrot from here to Uzbekistan would burst a blood vessel. That poor, silly, brainless housewife is playing those suckers like a cheap violin and I think it’s the funniest stuff I’ve seen since Joe Biden’s last policy speech.

Heads would explode if Bebe met her plane. LOL Well, I can dream... Between “shaming” Obama into acting tough about the Oil Spill, meeting Lady Thatcher and (Please God) going to Israel, dumb little Sarah of Wasila would have a Trifecta.
I wonder if McGinnis will follow her on her trip to England?

Oh barf. She was senator for six years to what? 2 years as Governor for Sarah. Get a grip. I know you lust over Sarah but please let’s not lie.

These people aren’t stupid.
Even as nations have criticized American “imperialism,” it can be said without a doubt that our allies yearn for American strength, light, and leadership, and would welcome having an adult in the house again.
Pray for the health, safety, and well-being of Sarah Palin and her family.

That’s amazing. A few good words from Thatcher can’t be spun away by the Media. And can you imagine if the Brits warm to her? The Media would either go bonkers or put a total news black-out on her trip.

I thought there was something vaguely familiar about Governor Palin

In a related story, Mitt Romney stood outside Buckingham Palace and insisted to the guards that he was an authentic conservative.
The guards laughed uncontrollably.

Yes! Palin already sounds like Thatcher at times, how about all the time?
To: Clyde5445
An English friend once referred to Thatcher as the “Iron Lady”- perhaps we’ll get to see her meet another-!

IIRC, I believe John Bolton is one who advises her from time to time - she can't go wrong with Bolton on her team!

sorry I think Ronald Reagan would wipe the floor in a debate with Palin. And he wouldn’t need to resort to childish slogans like “lamestream” media.

In fairness, didn’t Reagan refer to Col. Kadahfy as “flakey”?

Wait 'til she goes to Israel, maybe on this same trip. Then you will really see ungluedInteresting timing, given the tension between the Brits and zero. What a masterful stroke it would be for Netanyahu to meet with her at the same time!

Lets see how fast Obama sets up a meeting with Lady Thatcher. If that happens, then Baroness Thatcher should practice her famous handbagging technique. It would not be inappropriate to use the bust of Churchill in place of a handbag.

She may be getting good advice, but her instincts alone are unmatched out there.
To: HalfFull
I think ideally Palin would have waited until next year for this trip but I understand Lady Thatcher's physical condition may not be all that good. There are reports her mental state is deteriorating. God bless her.
She visited David Cameron at 10 Downing last week and looked better than I expected, though.
