You know I have had enough Teddy Roosevelt quotes this last couple of days.
TR the self-appointed leader of an American calvary troop that went to Cuba to kill Spanish soldiers in what was an unnecessary war started over a likely coal bunker explosion.
TR who started the whole President declaring vast tracts of land "national monuments" and setting the stage for more federal control.
I just love freepers who glorify those who grew government and Federal power.

Because I quoted Teddy Roosevelt, you think I support big government and Federal power? Logic isn't your strong suit. The quote I posted is true, regardless of the man's performance as president.
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.

TR who bravely went on on hunts with 60 bearers and an entourage... roughing it. I will give him his last escapade in S. America that nearly killed him. He was compensating for lifetime debilitating asthma. Another rich kid trying to prove something, with our money.
