Yes Titanium burns hot I have had Lathe fires making hardware for my boat. changed coolants and all was well a friend who makes fireworks uses it for pyrotechnic effects

I saw Titanium set on fire in a CNC lathe that was making the pins that hold the jet engines inside F-16s. Freaky.
