They won't. Senor Flores is a man of influence in Peru, and Peru doesn't really care about what happened in Aruba some years ago. They care about what happened in Lima recently. They've secured a confession from the creep and aren't going to jeopardize their case by injecting anything from the past into it.

Van der Snoot is going down, into a Peruvian prison, and that's that. Senor Flores may, or may not, arrange to have Van der Snoot killed, or some con may do the job unasked, in order to curry some favor with upper-class Lima society...

I wonder if at this point Natalie’s parents are relieved that this piece of garbage is paying for his crime in Peru.

Kind of like the satisfaction of seeing OJ in jail at last.

I am sure the Brown’s and the Goldman’s take some comfort in OJ being jailed.
