It’s no joke. Meanwhile, during Capitol Hill testimony yesterday on the oil spill, it was revealed that the Coast Guard is having to ration the oil spill response teams and equipment because of budget concerns.
What in the hell is going on in this country? It is time to start calling for Obama’s resignation or impeachment. This is not mere incompetence...it is a wilful dereliction of duty.
Man-Caused Disasters, Cont’d [Mark Krikorian]
This administration’s penchant for security euphemisms continues. First “man-caused disasters.” Then “overseas contingency operations.” Now, I hear that there are plans to rename Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “Homeland Security Investigations.”
Because, you know, abandoning immigration enforcement isn’t enough for this crowd — they don’t even want the words “immigration” and “enforcement” in close proximity.
Now, maybe this is just a proposal from inside the bureaucracy and isn’t settled yet, but it sounds like it’s for real. And if it is, Secretary Napolitano is in for another well-deserved round of mockery.
