The Houston Chronicle reports that the Obama administration has ordered the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) department to implement multiple modifications to their facilities to make life easier, more comfortable, and pleasant for the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants (approximately 400,000) it detains annually. An internal ICE email highlights 28 different changes the organization will have to make to soften the look of its facilities, present a friendlier environment, offer better entertainment, organize fun activities, and provide illegal immigrant detainees with free access to email and phone services, as well as better dining and training classes.

This administration’s penchant for security euphemisms continues. First “man-caused disasters.” Then “overseas contingency operations.” Now, I hear that there are plans to rename Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “Homeland Security Investigations.”
Because, you know, abandoning immigration enforcement isn’t enough for this crowd — they don’t even want the words “immigration” and “enforcement” in close proximity.
Now, maybe this is just a proposal from inside the bureaucracy and isn’t settled yet, but it sounds like it’s for real. And if it is, Secretary Napolitano is in for another well-deserved round of mockery.

What is it with leftists coddling prisoners? Last night on John Batchelor’s show, he interviewed a NY Slimes reporter who wrote a piece about the outrageous perks given to prisoners of the International Criminal Court such as Charles Taylor of Liberia whose regime routinely tortured and mutilated his opponents. The perks include a gym, free legal representation, and subsidized travel expenses for their family members to the tune of air fare, hotel stays, visa fees and babysitters. And here is Obamao, making sure that illegal aliens have self-serve beverage stations and fresh vegetable bars. Stunning.
Every day I think I’ve heard it all. Every single day.
What does it say about a culture when you can’t tell satire from the real thing anymore?

Outrage? Oh, I am well past outrage. After working on my list for the last 72 weeks of Obama, Outrage doesn't begin to cover it.
It would be far cheaper than housing them in the proposed resorts called Obama prisons, where they are fed, clothed, taught, given all sorts of perks etc. than it would be to fly them back to their own country.
Since John McCain is the ranking Republican on the United States Senate Armed Services Committee, that he should head up the United States Air Lift Returning Aliens To Mexico etc.
Michael B. Donley, AFS and Robert Gates should have no quarrel with this as it will help enormously states that are in the red primarily because of their illegal aliens costing the taxpayer enormous amounts of tax $$$ to keep them in a lifestyle they have never had before.
