That Harry Reid, what a far left kook!!!

McConnell said Obama “continues to support” the legislation that the minority leader says “has absolutely nothing to do with the environmental disaster we're facing in the Gulf.”
:::::::::::::::::::
That is because Obama does not give a damn about the Gulf, the leak or anything else related to it. Cap and Tax is just that — another SOCIALIST TAX to support radical socialism. This is what happens when you put a radical, anti-American ideologue in the Oval Office instead of a president.

Obama and Rahm are trying to get votes using the “buffet strategy” (meaning all-you-can-eat pork). Hope Mitch has an answer for that.

You’re right but even a lot of Dems now are starting to realize their spending is over the top.

If true, this is the best news I’ve heard all year.

It sure is. Rockefeller says he’ll vote with Repubs and an article I read a day or two ago mentioned it was unsure how Byrd would vote but he may also.

McConnell isn't the swaggering type and doesn't often use the words "total confidence" often.
If he can pull it off, he deserves a hefty pat on the back.

"Pelosi said there was a "lack of integrity" demonstrated by BP in the aftermath of the explosion..."Good grief! Pelosi accusing others of a lack of integrity is pathetic!

They’ve gotten most of the regulation they wanted via executive fiat with EPA, and the Republicans failed to block that today. All stopping this does is keep them from taxing it and making a boatload of money for Gore and other Dem enablers, which isn’t trivial, but we still haven’t stopped the real economic damage.

You’re right. I saw that the RATS shot it down today, was hoping the EPA would be cut off at the knees.
Don’t know if that can be undone later or how difficult that might be, do you?

Hopefully it can come up again after we take the Senate (fingers crossed), but I don’t know.

Considering Cap and Trade would decimate West Virginia’s primary industry, (coal) he would be committing political suicide if he didn’t oppose that bill.
