The EPA is trying to bypass Congress and we, the people by creating regulations that are really bits and pieces of Cap & Trade!!!
Representative Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) has written S.J. Resolution 26 which does NOT allow the EPA to make these rogue laws that will hurt the United States.
S.J. Resolution 26 is all of one sentence:
Disapproving a rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to the endangerment finding and the cause or contribute findings for greenhouse gases under section 202(a) of the Clean Air Act.
Only 51 votes are needed to pass this resolution but it still looks like it's going to be close. Senator Scott Brown (R-MA), Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) are actually 'on the fence' about voting YES for this resolution.

We cannot allow the EPA or ANY Federal Government entity to bypass Congress and create laws that will hurt this country. We cannot allow the EPA or ANY Federal Government entity to trample all over the Consitution. This is why we must STOP THIS NOW!
EPA DOES NOT RUN THIS COUNTRY. They either need to be stopped or closed down............or maybe both.
both
Wouldn’t 67 votes be needed, since Obama would presumably veto this?
Disregard my previous comment. I see it’s a resolution. But that would mean the EPA could just ignore it.
BTTT
Just a footnote: The EPA is not the only administration that is allowed to write their own laws. Look at OSHA and the IRS to name a couple.
The logic behind this was contrived in the 70’s and 80’s by Congress to give such extra-constitutional authority to these big administrations for the idea of plausible deniability. When such an organization goes out-of-bounds Congress can step in and have hearings and show trials. Yet it is Congress who allowed this to happen in the first place.
Otherwise these organizations go along and do the bidding of Congress. It is diabolical.
