Look at all the "closed press" events.

This is not unusual for B.O. Of course, if Bush were doing all these closed press events, you'd hear clamoring from the Drive Bys.

But not with B.O.; with him the press is like an obedient servant, happy to just be allowed to bask in his presence.

I've never, in my many years of observing D.C. politics, seen a media as compliant as today's.
