OK, I’ll say it... where’s the barf alert???
WHAT?!!! This is INEXCUSABLE! She said something president Obama didn't like?! OFF WITH HER HEAD!!
So Helen...could you take off the halloween mask? I’d like to get a photo.
Thanks for posting, but gosh. That’s a tough read. Why doesn’t the interviewer just have sex with her? Oops! I’m sorry, that was uncalled for.
Just remember, Helen was FIRED..because she wasn’t allowed to do a final, fairwell column, something which is accorded just about every journalist who “retires”
Do I have to spell it out for you? The first two words in heading: HELEN THOMAS! Get out your dictionary and look up “synonymous”.
no bias here
Where is the liberal press? It doesnt exist. Read the Washington Post, read the New York Times. I mean, sure, a couple of columnists. But the weight of the editorials is toward the conservative side. For one thing, does anybody ever denounce aggression? No.
Wonderful. Reminds me of ....I don't know how Nixon won, nobody I know voted for him...
LOL! Good one!! My bad.
BTW, can anyone cite a great story or column she wrote? Forty some years on the job - there should be a huge body of work. I think she's just a fraud.
That's how I'll remember her. Just like Dan Rather...
Another dead DINOSAUR! Hopefully, they’ll be totally extinct real soon now.
Helen Thomas: Liberal Scum, Pathetic Hag, Disgusting Bxtch.
Per Dennis Miller.. “she definitely didn’t sleep her way to the top” (of the liberal white house media).
There, I fixed that.
Miss Thomas makes a lot of aspersions most notably the one in which she conjures up the names of Father Coughlin and Gerald L.K. Smith both depression era personalities who ended up preaching a type of anti semitism of the day. Given the fact that she is now lumped into that camp, I do not think she should be so quick to cast allegations of that nature onto modern day conservatives, which she seems to have been doing in this interview. Also, I disagree with her statement that indicated during World War 2 any young man that “breathed” was taken into the armed services. Many young men, my uncle and my father included, raced to the recruiting office after Pearl Harbor only to be rejected . My uncle had an injury to his elbow and my father had a type of diabetes ,physical conditions that the recruiting offices insisted precluded them from participating in active duty. There are many similar stories. So many boys volunteered during that war that they could be picky. I guess Miss Thomas feels she has the right to remember history in her own way.
Especially with the pictures. I mean really, people could be eating breakfast and reading this at the same time. Then along comes the picture and urrrp. All over the keyboard.
You never know. I hear she was quite a looker duing the Jackson administration.
Good points you make, especially about the anti-semitism. And now that you point it out, my father volunteered during WWII and was turned down because of a minor physical condition (I forget exactly what it was now and he died 40 years ago).
