BP’s corporate management culture is completely back-asswards.

Managers receive bonuses based on the amount of money they save thru budget cuts and any other way they can.

You cannot operate safely when you don’t perform essential maintenance in order to maximize your annual bonus.

Exxon screwed up royally with the Valdez spill. They learned from it and you don’t hear about them causing disasters any more.

BP is insane. They keep making the same mistakes and expecting different outcomes.
