If the Gov tried to lock up 25M people, I believe there would be a general uprising pretty quick. From a logical perspective, if the Gov wants to kill you, you might as well make a statement and kill as many Gov weenies as possible.

First off, most would disapear rather quickly, before people had time to react. Martial law would be imposed. The rest is easy - unless the military revolts.
Secondly, I am increasingly pessimistic that people would revolt. Half the country pays no taxes. 70% of our economy has been nationalized. We are so far in debt that the numbers are incomprehendable to the government-educated, functionally illiterate populace. We are all, literally, lobsters in gradually hotter water.

The question is how many will agree and take action? The tipping point was reached long ago and still we believe that we are a nation of laws and moderation. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE ENEMY, JUST AS IS AL QAEDA.
