This is just a quick note to everyone. Lately, a lot of people have discovered a video that supposedly is by a Hawaii official that claims there is no Hawaii Birth Certificate for the President.
We have no idea as to the legitimacy of this claim however, we need to warn everyone that the source of this video is a group called The Council of Conservative Citizens. This is NOT a Conservative group, do not be fooled by the name. This group is a front group for a neo-Nazi group known as the National Alliance and is associated with Stormfront.
Sources such as this are not welcome at Free Republic for obvious reasons. If you see this video posted, please report it to us through the abuse button so we can remove it.
These groups have a history of creating front groups or websites to try to sneak into the mainstream. Another site that you may see a lot that works like this is the EU Times. From what we've found, they are associated with a pretty nasty European Neo-Nazi group.
We don't expect everyone to check every single source, especially as some do stay under the radar. Just stay vigilant and know that sites like this are out there.

So the advice then it to “turn off” Flash, since the code itself cannot be uninstalled? Only a new patch laid in?

Yes, the guy is Tim Adams in that video/webcast says he now works at Western Kentucky U. in the graduate program.
He appears to be real, and if he is for real, I suspect he will give another outlet an audience besides stormfront.
It doesn’t matter. If he is legit, he can give his information and/or interview to a legit source. Until then, Stormfront and The National Front and other Aryan Nation type groups are not allowed here, period. Your post links to the Stormfront video so we are pulling.
Understood. I just wanted to let you know that the story is starting to spread. So expect to see posts about this Adams guy in the near future w/o that baggage.

Tim Adams was the Chief Elections Clerk for the city and county of Honolulu, Hawaii, during the 2008 presidential election. As Chief Elections Clerk, he supervised a staff of 50 and had access to all the database to verify documents like birth certificates and birth places of campaign candidates.
On June 5, 2010, Adams was interviewed by James Edwards of the Political Cesspool radio show. Adams says unequivocally:

I have to seriously doubt his judgment in choosing to call radio stations with this story, if it is, indeed, him. He could get sued for breaching the privacy clause that was most likely in his HI contract.
He may have just been sharing scuttlebutt in the HI office where it appears to be unlikely that he could actually have seen proof that BHO II didn't have a long form BC.
Proving the nonexistence of something is more problematic than proving something is there for starters.
Usually on a hot topic to Obama's detriment, the Obot script kiddies are busy messing with the websites by planting their bugs.
Maybe there was a time limit on confidentiality?
I used to work for the SSA and they drilled into us the penalties for violating privacy laws, and that is how it should be!
“Tim Adams” is doing something similar to what the 9 employees of the firm in Iowa are being prosecuted for doing. The 9 were “peeking” at Obama’s records and were caught because their computer access events had an audit trail.
We don't know how Mr. Adams came into possession of knowledge of his claim that Obama does not have a long form, or whether the claim is credible so the nature of his potential liability is unclear at this point.
