When I see very heavy people I always feel sorry for them because regardless of what they say I know they feel like crap. I just lost about 20 lbs (not the fun way, I’ve been sick) and altho I’m still sick, I have to admit, losing 20 lbs feels great. Anyone who wants to weigh as much as this woman does is mentally ill.

Where does this woman get $36,000 a year to spend on food? Who pays for the diabetes treatment and monthly doctor visits? How does she get to the grocery store? Who helps her bathe and dress? Who pays the rent?

I don’t think I want to know; I’m getting ready to pay quarterly estimated 2010 taxes, and I’m already plenty distressed.

Absolutely spot on, Brytlea. I'm always amazed at TV shows like THE BIGGEST LOSER, that help with the weight loss but not with the underlying cause. Break the psychological hold food has on many people and then true weight loss can begin.
