The distance between the president and the people is beginning to be revealed.
The deepening notes of disenchantment with Barack Obama now issuing from commentators across the political spectrum were predictable. So, too, were the charges from some of the president's earliest enthusiasts about his failure to reflect a powerful sense of urgency about the oil spill.

Exactly, as I said in a second post, #15.
It’s like saying that conservatives or Christians are a “fringe element.” It’s what they would like to think, but it’s simply not so.
Sadly, yes.
His mannerisms are those of a psychologically sick personality type. He really doesn’t seem to have a noticeable personality but his actions come across as very mechanical and void of sincerity. He plainly seems stranger and stranger all the time, almost like he is made out of plastic.
Demented Fringe? Show us his birth certificate or any other bit of history on this guy and I’ll GLADDLY admit to being demented. Until then... we are NOT demented.
Just so. He is clearly a malignant narcissist, capable of loving no one but himself. And if his self-image is damaged by his own incompetence and the disapproval of everyone around him, then he will snap.
We just have to hope that if he snaps, he snaps in a manner that everyone can see, thus destroying his image as a messiah, and not in a manner that brings on a war, foreign or civil.
Obama had an abusive, drunken father who abandoned him; a crazy, selfish mother who abandoned him; a hateful grandfather; and a child-molesting mentor who abused him as a child and turned him into a homosexual or possibly a bisexual. It’s no wonder that he was driven to invent fantasies about himself, and is wounded and brittle.
He would be an object of compassion—if he had not stolen his way into the White House, determined to bring the whole country down with him.
His eyes on election night as he walked onto that stage said it all. He's a sociopath of the first order. I will feel sorry for this pathetic monster only AFTER he is out of office. My only hope is that we survive his alleged presidency...
