The Saudis are not, nor never have been, overly concerned about Israel. These missiles are for one purpose, and one purpose alone. Iran...

Saudi Arabia would nuke Iran or Pakistan before they nuked Israel.

Supposing this is true, and that is not something I would want to wager any money on, it’s obvious that the Saudi’s missile capacity is intended to counterweight Iran’s.

Saudi Arabia is not worried about destabilizing proselytizing Jews. They are, however, worried about increasing Iranian bellicosity and Shiite unrest.
