Instead he failed and now everyone knows how bad he failed.

What fail? People just chose to vote for someone else. Chuck didn’t have millions to spend or a personal fortune. As far as Carly ignoring the conservatives and running to the center, it won’t be because of Chuck. She would have done that naturally. That’s where she is and where she believes the voters in CA are.

I will vote for her as a better choice than Boxer. I’m still not convinced on the governor’s race. I don’t see why a Republican needs to be governor when the whole economy fails. It’s beyond salvaging without violent protests by the give me something voters. Let the dems deal with it, they created it.

You make a great observation. Here in Wisconsin, we're on the fast tract to CA. If a conservative wins the gov (and it's looking extremely great! the polls are overwhelming in favor for him), we will beat it back, and this guy is similar to CC from NJ. If a dem wins, we'll just be another CA or MI. But, if we just keep voting in D's, it will only get worse. We have to stop this madness. If it takes a Rino for now, so be it. We have to remove all rats. They just spread disease.

I agree not sold on Whitman. Carly IMO is the best we can hope for in Ca at this time. As the country moves back to the right Ca will also and maybe in couple years CA will allow a more conservative senator to win.
