The Iron Lady returns to No. 10

Baroness Thatcher was welcomed back to 10 Downing Street today for an historic private meeting with the Prime Minister.

David Cameron came to the door of Number 10 to welcome Lady Thatcher and helped the visibly frail former premier from her limousine.

The 84-year-old 'Iron Lady' waved to waiting photographers but made no comment as she entered the address from which she led the UK between 1979 and 1990.

My thought too. Had he offered a clear alternative to Labour and Lib/Lab he might have won outright.

It was a very proud time in America and I agree with you. Mighty people of their word instead we hav spinless, weakling, communists who are thoroughly disgusting and utterly dishonorable running things now.

We are definitely in a garbage decade. Began in 2006 and we must show the upcoming generation a better way.

Margaret Thatcher stood up to the liberals in her OWN PARTY who were getting nervous a couple years into her tenure! She spoke to them in a splendid and public manner, telling them she was going to continue the course. See her do it on youtube:

We need more men and women like her in America! (Our conservative women--Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, Jan Brewer seem to get it! How about the men?)
