I have feeling this is one case the government is going to regret moving forward to trial. BP will present evidence that they were in compliance and even received a safety award. What crime has been broken??

I used to work for an oil company in the supply and distribution department. The rules and laws they operate under are so complex that it will not be difficult to find many points of non-compliance. The bureaucratic controls put in place by the EPA and OSHA alone are enough to guarantee that a Chicago style inspection will result in violations.
