Look for Iran to stir up some mischief somewhere. My guess - Northern Israel and/or Southern Lebanon

Completely agreed could me that we completely agree to disagree; therefore we agree that no action will be taken.

I think what is more important than another set of watered down meaningless UN sanctions is the Iranian reaction to them. I would look for some type of military/economic/diplomatic provcation from Iran in the near future.

Prohibition brought us into the era of organized crime, China and Russia will be falling over themselves raising their prices by 50% on sanctioned goods and smuggling them there, times never change. Unless we blockade them and search every ship coming and going, which isn’t going to happen, then this whole charade is pointless.
Cutting every gasoline pipeline and source might have an effect on stirring up the people, but no one has the testicular fortitude to stand up to Russia and China.

Two billion nuclear armed commies with all the financial resources, manufacturing capacity, and scientific knowledge they can possibly use. Unlike Iran, Hammas, Syria and North Korea standing up to China should induce a bit of fear.

I agree completely, which is why this won’t work. For the life of me I can’t figure out why China is willing to let Iran continue on like this, it’s not like whoever replaces them won’t sell every drop of oil or puff of gas to China the instant the shooting stops, and a stable Middle East is in everyone’s best interest. China is having some problems with Islam now also, I can’t believe they want a nuclear armed whackjob that hates them just a tiny bit less than they do us.

I hate sanctions. Look at how well they’ve worked. The people of those countries are hurt, not the dictators.

The PC West cannot deal with Islam. China, with no rules, plenty of resources and, thanks to the one child policy, a surplus male population almost as large as the entire US population is quite willing to trade blows with Islam. They will Drive the Islamics west to bring down Europe and the US in the same way that the rise of Mongol China drove the Huns, Vandals and Visigoths west to destroy Rome.
