Say what you will, and I'll just add this. Since job entry drug testing in the oilfield, it has become a much safer place to work.

As with all drugs, and I include alcohol, their bodies (and minds) may not exactly be up to snuff when doing things which affect others.

I agree with you.

If it is a place of business and the business wants to drug test for reasons of safety or some other issue, by all means test away.

They should not hire who they feel cannot do the job and do it well.

I just don't think it is anybody's business if someone is drinking or smoking whatever.

Everyone has to live with the consequences of their actions, good or bad.

I just hate it when the “I know what is best” crowd tells everyone else how to live.

OK, I'll go along with that- not as many paper-cuts & smashed toes. But tell me this- how is that Deepwater Horizon thingie workin out for the Oil Biz?
Before ya go labeling me a Head, I'm not ,yet, but if my arthritis keeps getting worse my retirement years may be very laid-back.
