Why did you dodge the question? You were not asked about the politics of California pot. You were asked about the Comerce Clause and the Tenth Amendment.
Typical prohibitionist contempt for the Constitution.
Marijuana is the most commonly used drug.
After using it a few time the users begin using it every day.
After using it every day for 30 years, the become meth addicts.
That means we should be awash in 50 year old meth addicts. We aren't.
Dr. Pinsky is not telling the whole truth, and I think he probably knows it.
When a drug becomes dangerous and a threat to America's well being then I'm all for the Controlled Substances Act.
Marijuana is prohibited at the federal level by the Controlled Substances Act.
I don't agree with CA voters passing a measure to tax and regulate marijuana. Marijuana is a dangerous drug with dangerous effects and consequences.
I am OK with Marinol as a medication but never smoked marijuana. People who want to smoke pot usually desire the high rather than the medical benefit. I would bet in California you can go to a Doctor and report a pimple on your ass and get prescribed marijuana. We have enough problems with Doctors overprescribing opioids in America as we see a constant stream of addicts Doctor shopping.
Another Wickardista comes out of the closet.
In case you were not aware, the post-Wickard Commerce Clause has enabled fedgov control of health care, education, welfare and the environment. You have zero standing to oppose any of it on a constitutional basis.
Your contempt for the Constitution is on display for all to see.
Your advocacy for a dangerous drug is on display.
I'm guessing that you're one of those people who sits around on Friday and Saturday nights doing nothing.
