This is not so. I need more info to refute this.

Here is what I have.

1. If homosexuality was the natural state of human parentage then why does it take a man and a woman to create a child?

2. I have been a single dad for two decades and I will tell anyone to their face that a single gender cannot raise a well balanced child.

3. These lesbian kids are manufactured.... donors picked for abilities and traits in a lab.

4. The lesbian moms are upper income "educated" people with jobs and resources to participate in this sort of long term study.

5. A man cannot teach a girl how to be a woman and a woman cannot teach a boy to be a man.

I could use more input from a scientific stand point. God bless people of faith but I am dealing with non faith types so un refutable facts are more effective here.

It was just a matter of time before 'gays make just as good parnts as heteros' to 'gays make BETTER parents than heteros'.

It is my personal belief that if you allow any group self-segregated and lobbying by gender, gender preference, race, religion, etc an inch, they will immediately take a mile.

And always at someone else's cost.

This all doesn’t really matter - the radicals have chosen to push their agenda, Hell or high water. They completely ignore facts, and make new ones up to back up their agenda.

I know better - when I was teaching, I had a pair of students who’s mother was (is) a practicing Lesbian. She would get a “partner” who would move in and stay for a period of time. They would have a falling out with a blow up. Then another lover came along and the story would start over. The kids are definitely not well adjusted. The older had developed into something less than a “good girl”. The younger son... can be a pretty good kid - but has some pretty amazing emotional issues.

To think the study has any validity I’d need to know how many of the children interviewed were male or female.

Would a study that concluded to the contrary ever see the light of day? Political correctness dominates science and academia so completely that everything they say is suspect.

Junk scientists are a dime a dozen. I knew this was going to happen when they started giving out college diplomas to anyone that was willing to pay their outrageous tuition.

Percentage-wise it’s known that adopted children do better overall than non-adopted children, primarily because adopted kids are 100 wanted and planned which is not true for natural births.

Since most lesbian couples adopt, I can’t help but wonder how the above info factors into the conclusion.

They key is how you define good and bad behavior. If you define male characteristics as bad behavior, the feminization of children raised by two females will rank higher on your metric. The is just a confirmation of the war on boys.

Once again, don’t take the argument at face value and try to win on the grounds they’ve already established - they’ve intentionally skewed the assumptions and the measures of “wellbeing” to favor their preconceived conclusions. What you need to do is to delve into how they defined all of the terms of art they bandy about - like “wellbeing” - and what sort of assumptions they rely on without really stating as such.

For example, I don’t think that most of us would consider over-indulged little brats to be well-adjusted or properly raised, but (and I don’t know if this is one of the subtle biases in this particular study) if one defines “well-being” in such a way that it increases to the extent that a child gets what they want - then having two over-indulgent mommies may result in a supposed increase in “well-being” when all it really indicates is that the child is especially over-indulged and especially likely to be a self-centered, childish brat when grown up (that is, a standard-issue liberal).

“psychologically healthy”...I’m guessing that’s where the manipulation will lie in this so-called study. What a liberal considers “psychologically healthy” and what a normal person considers “psychologically healthy” are very different things.

Barbra Streisand at it’s worst. Sickening. The gays/lesbians need someone who care about their well being. A good psychiatrist who doesn’t buy into political correctness and might be able to counsel the GLBT among us. It is not normal and never will be.

These may not be reports exclusively dealing with lesbians but they do include information about them.

I was looking for an article I saw long ago about lesbians being more violent towards one another than either gay men or people in a normal husband/wife relationship, but I have not been able to locate it yet.

Don’t worry. In a year or two there will be another report debunking this. Of course that one will be buried by the MSM. This claim is utterly ridiculous.

The teens raised by lesbian parents were rated higher in social, school, academic, and total competence, Gartrell found, while they were rated lower than the peers in the comparison group in engaging in problem behaviors such as rule-breaking and aggression.

Very ambiguous details on the actual ratings, but seems they are thrilled with the docile behavior.

Seeing that the data is being gathered from children who are indoctrinated into the homosexual lifestyle from birth, it would follow that the bulk of the questions dealing with social and total competence likely revolved around acceptance and tolerance of that lifestyle, and if that was the case, the results were neither surprising or unexpected, and the researchers were more or less guaranteed specific results as a consequence.

Even though I do not have a copy of the questionnaires, I would venture to say that the results of this "study" are fraudulent from the ground up and are the product of an agenda. Also, I'm of a belief that the results are both pointless and useless.

“A significantly greater proportion of young adult children raised by lesbian mothers than those raised by heterosexual mothers in the sample reported having had a homoerotic relationship (6 of the 25 young adults raised by lesbian mothers [24%] compared with 0 of the 20 raised by heterosexual mothers.) 64 percent of the young adults raised by lesbian mothers report having considered same-sex relationships (in the past, now or in the future), compared with only 17 percent of those raised by heterosexual mothers.”

Those advocating the homosexual agenda rely for foundational credibility on the 1973 decision by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) to remove homosexuality from its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). However, concurrently and subsequently, no papers were presented refuting research previously done.

After this unsubstantiated decision, a new task force ensured perpetual sanctity for the APA action. The task force set standards for peer review of articles to dictate appropriate flexibility in design definitions, outcomes, and analytical models. This paper must follow those design standards to reach publication in any “worthy” venue.

Psychology and Psychiatry have chosen to abandon all pretense of scientific rigor in exchange for popular societal and political acclaim. In Genesis 3:23-24 the Lord God banished humanity from the Garden of Eden and placed an angel before the Garden to keep humanity away forever. By their actions, Psychology and Psychiatry appear content to keep science away from their own Garden of Eden.

Well I bet the researchers already had this in mind. Most of those who do these studies are either homosexual or start out from a clear homosexual activist bias. There have been other studies that have shown such as below.

The study was funded by a variety of organizations, including the Lesbian Health Fund of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association and others, but the funders had no roles in the study, Gartrell says.

I'm certain the organizations knew exactly who to get to perform the study in order to get the results they were looking for.

WebMD requested comments on the new research from two organizations that favor traditional family structures -- Focus on the Family and the Family Research Council. Spokespeople for both groups said they will try to review the findings and provide comment, but those comments were not received in time for publishing.

Be sure to check with those websites...I'm sure they will have a well reasoned response to this study in the near future, if not already.
