“I don’t sit around just talking to experts because this is a college seminar, we talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answers, so I know whose ass to kick.” “President” Barack Hussein Obama
This is just wrong on so many levels.
Okay.
Let’s imagine that we would like our president, at least in public, to display some sense of propriety and decorum.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who had the maturity to eschew vulgarity in favor of a polite but well-turned phrase.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who is not constantly trying to find somebody to blame.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who is focused on solving problems rather than pointing fingers.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who truly accepts responsibility for everything that occurs on his watch, and proceeds, without complaint, to play the hand that he has been dealt by history.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who respects the office and those who have held it, even if he does not agree with their politics or policies.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who honors all who have served, who currently serve, and who will serve.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who has reverence for the audacity, faith, and honor of our Founding Fathers.
Let’s imagine that we would like a president who respects the people that he has sworn to serve and the Constitution that he has sworn to defend.
Now, keep that thought.
That’s who we’re looking for. That’s who needs to be our next President.
Great post!
You are completely correct!
This is great...may I borrow and share it?
