Yep a utility crew didn’t do a proper locate and bored into a 36” gas pipeline. Bet it wasn’t done on purpose but someone screwed up at some point in the process.
36” line! Yeow!!! I thought it was some smaller domestic or neighborhood line.
A major building site reconstruction could easily accidentally sever a major utility conduit (gas, electric, water, sewer, etc.) The JULIE marks can be easily obliterated by activity on the surface of the ground.

It is up to him to make sure locates are called in and
that the crew digs up these lines by HAND...
