Well, I liked that his ‘goody times’ speech was blasted literally out of the sky. Remember, this was a post 9/11 show from the start. It happened to echo the first show as well, a bolt from the blue attack after years of peace and people got complacent just like we did. That’s how I took it at least, it had mixes of both lib and con, but a balance of con/lib and mostly con kept them going.
As i said i only saw that episode and maybe one or two others so i will not blabber on about it just saying that i saw enough of it to turn me off
Boomer was gorgeous though (if i got the right name for the asian pilot)
I’d agree about BSG. Other than the season that was meant to parallel Iraq occupation, this show had an undoubtedly conservative message, all the while constantly smacking down the pacifists that Apollo and Baltar became.
