I was looking for something more specific. In short I am 100% opposed to any American citizen being denied the Constitutionally protected right to due process. Sadly because of the Woodrow Wilson and FDR, thousands of Americans were denied that right. They lost their liberty, pursuit of happiness and part of their life.

Democrats are ever searching for ways to control, oppress, and criminalize conservative speech. They are violent thugs.

That’s really racist, in fact, Ms. Lee had an affair with a Marxist priest in Central America as her boss Ron Dellums cooperated with the Sandinistas.
She is a walking tragedy, a complete failure at every level, but here district is 90% minority and she gets re-elected becaus of that. I know, she was my rep.

our federal government actually imprisoned thousands of AMERICAN CITIZENS during WWI and WWII because of their race or because they spoke out against the government. I know about the Japanese and Manzanar but is there a reference for people being imprisoned during WWI? Or citizens being rounded up for speaking against the government during either war?

There’s absolutely no reason to stop deepwater drilling just because BP made a series of incredibly stupid mistakes that no other company could possibly make in the future. The way to prevent offshore oil spills to to kick BP out of America forever and require a full divestiture of all BP’s assets in the US.

I agree, although, the Japanese internment camps (not all Japanese Americans in the United States were interned) were located in the Western US and may have been a necessary solution to concerns of espionage and Japanese sympathizers after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Who is to make that decision? Maybe all tea partiers are to be imprisoned for being a “necessary threat” to Obama’s agenda to “save” America.
We either support liberty and the rule of law or we do not. If someone has commuted a crime - charge them and give them due process. Our God given rights secured by the Constitution are not to be chosen at will based on “feeling” or “necessity”. If we don’t like something in it - amend it!
