Depends on how deep the coverup is. They’ll do anything to protect 0 - he’s taking incredible heat over this and it’s only going to get worse. Just the offer? Agree, he’s fired and that’s the end of it. Lying/obstruction? Who knows where it will go. It’s always a lot easier when they can focus the issue on 1 poor SOB.
