They're getting a 3% return with little or no short term risk.

To earn a 3% return, based on borrowing overnight at 0.75%, you'd need to buy something maturing in over 10 years, because the 10 Year bond yields 3.2%.

Hardly what I'd call a trade with little or no short term risk.
