Exactly my point. Once Boehner starting speaking up, he mysteriously disappeared from the talk shows.
Barbour is an excellent spokesperson, which is why we also didn’t see him after Katrina. He didn’t whine and blame Bush.
I don’t mind that people are disgusted with the shows, but they need to not blame GOP people for not being on. They weren’t invited.

When Bush was president, we saw Pelosi, Schumer, et al on ‘newscasts’ practically simultaneously with any statement that came out of the White House
“in the interest of fairness”.
Now the “fairness” is in showing yet one more quote from the TOTUS. No rebuttal needed.
Libs did not want to hear anything Bush had to say, so they wanted to know what Nancy, Harry and Chuck would respond. Now they have no interest in anything that any Republican has to say (unless it bashes another Republican.)
Again, you are absolutely correct. The press does not want to listen to the Republicans, especially the conservative ones.
I saw a picture last winter of Mike Pence holding a press conference and there were only one or two reporters attending!
Think what it must be like for Pence, Boehner, et. al. as they try to combat this insanity! I try to call them frequently and express my appreciation. We are doing all we can to send reinforcements on November 2.
