Yes, the “perp walk” in the US is very popular.

But Joran had already done the Peruvian perp walk.

What they did here was a second very unusual perp walk——bringing Joran to a Peruvian official’s press conference so the world could watch him being manhandled by the beefy cops.....that was the unusual part.

I’m glad they did it....nice to to see the little worm squirm. But it’s not the procedure seen in the US.

Kudos to the Peruvians-—we should do that here.

You bet - and I knew it was a "extra-and-very-in-your-face" perp walk too.

But you're right, ours are a bit more.....shall we say.......less conspicuous. At least our cops and prosecutors TRY to make is look like they are not trying to humiliate the person. They just happened to stop the white van in front of the gathered throng of reporters and cameramen to escort the handcuffed individual there through the courthouse door.....that's all.
