<< Great speech by Newt Gingrich. >>

Indeed it was. Struck close to home for me as a Long Islander when he talked about how 97 percent of Long Island Rail Road employees retired on “disability.” He called it what it was, a “theft” of the Long Island taxpayer.

Also, he spoke of some great new educational ideas. Yell at me all you want, but he is a true idea’s man, and unfortunately for the Republican party, maybe the only one we have running in 2012.

Newt is definitely a more ideas before the toast pops up in the morning that most people have all day man. He can give a great speech chock full of those ideas and how we can transform the nation, and you go away thinking how he's the answer. But then you remember that he cannot be trusted because he's a creature of DC who wants to get along with the RATS—his global warming heavy petting session on the couch with Pelosi comes to mind—and he has a self-professed weakness for Bildo Klintoon to the point where he said he melts around Slick which is scary in and of itself let alone that Obamao's administration is full of Clintonistas including Her Heinous and Rahm Emanuel.

Let him be the ideas man that you activate like Harry Mudd's ex-wife Stella and then deactivate after a few minutes of outburst. Anything more and you risk a disaster.

He has some great ideas. Chris Christie is on the right track.

I listened to it 3 times just trying to make a list of the books he referred to for my reading list. There are about 8 of them. Notice he was not working from a written speech?

He's an "idea man". But, from the standpoint of executive ability, he's no better equipped to be President than the current occupant.

Newt just isn't somebody you'd want to run the family business. But he makes a helluva advisor.

I agree with you. In good times, I would not consider him. In times like these, we need a brain. As far as I know, Newt is the only brainiac running. No ordinary dummy is going to be able to clean up after the kenyan and make a start on heading the economy in the right direction.
