Locals ought to each fill up a bucket of the oily tar balls and caravan to D.C. and deposit the contents on the White House lawn with a message to the Imposter telling him more will be arriving for the next 45 days.

That’s a GREAT idea.

So, anger is JUST starting now?

All the foot dragging by everyone doing the finger pointing has just ensured that this has become an unparalleled disaster.

They could have started burning it off at the beginning. They could have done what the Saudis did and collect it and separate it out.

The feds have not given the states permission to do oil containment.

IGNORE THE FEDS. Do what you have to and deal with the government later.

This is where it needs to be deposited:

Doing so would likely motivate the political caste.

That is an excellent idea, and it may just happen.
Considering how much this Administration is going to play
this for political benefit,(MORE imported oil in the short term,NOT less,
renewed focus on the Utopian Green Energy Future, pass the American Power Act,etc) you’d think Oblahblah would adopt a posture
that would play better with the American people, and just STOP having parties, and talking about LeBron James.
He could at least PRETEND to be concerned, rather than promoting it as a legal issue first and foremost. Little David vs. Goliath all over again, in a lame and contradictory scenario of Corporate Greed and Malfeasance.
Even heard a surrogate, Gnome Robert Reich on the radio todaqy putting forth the idea that BP should be taken over by the Government temporarily, put in receivership, until
“this thing is solved”.
Nobody quite appreciates the level of Olympian detachment this Adminstration has for real-life problems like this Deep Horizon oil spill-—they are an annoyance, only to be exploited. “Helping”, showing some “competence” in crisis-managing, is the LAST thing on their mind.
And they will pay for it, in the final analysis.

Obama is milking this for the fear of corporation and drilling oil. Regulations and this Coastie girl Admiral leaking the boots of Obama are a disgrace and a bunch of lying coward hypocrites.
