The only party that has done anything about the oil leak/spill is BP. The federal government hasn’t fulfilled its obligations, and has alternately bashed BP when things haven’t gone right, and taken credit when things have gone right.

I swear. Everybody is always guilty of something. Nobody really knows. What we do know is BP was trying a deep water rig at 5000 ft depth and it wasn’t secure. It blew up and killed a bunch of good folks, I’m positive. This Country better get common sense back in order fast. If you don’t have it, stand in line.
