TRENTON For years, the states elected officials and others with political connections had a direct pipeline to the hottest concerts and sporting events in New Jersey.
Springsteen. U2. BonJovi. It didnt matter.
Commissioners, legislators, judges even the governors office were able to score scarce or prime seats at public venues without ever going through a ticket scalper. They simply called the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority or the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and asked for house seats.
Today, Gov. Chris Christie shut the exclusive ticket window.

I like this guy more and more. Go to the sight and read the posts and watch the Libs cry.. They flame him for getting into peoples livelihood. Is livelihood getting into a position to where you can steal however much you want from the common person?

Times have changed...nephew was in a meeting with the new director of the NJ Department of Transportation a few weeks back - guy said as he was going around meeting some of the people in the department he came across a section whose function it was to investigate airplane accidents - had six men in it, each with his own Chevy Suburban - when asked why they needed six people, they said that they needed extra personnel for on-call duty at night and on weekends - when asked why they needed anyone at all, in that the FAA and National Transportation Board ordinarily investigate plane crashes, they said the section was set up by a 1929 law and never changed - my nephew had the feeling there might soon be six slightly used Suburbans on sale by the state, and six former state employees added to the jobless rolls......

I’m going to have to start doing some research on him and see what his stances are on the spectrum of issues. He’s more appealing to me than Palin which says a lot.

Governor Christie gains more respect from me everytime I read about him.

I don't live in Jersey; but California can sure use someone with Gov. Christie type of approach. Whether we agreed with him or disagreed with him; he is one tough sucker. I wish him well and get reelected so he can continued to clean house and remove all kind of union and government corruption. God Bless Gov. Christie. Semper Fi!

Christie is already the best Gov. NJ has ever had.
Palin is still more appealing to me as a presidential candidate, especially as she understands the 2nd amendment.
