Come on in, the water's fine You don't know me from Adam but presumptuously assume I'm not in this water you speak of.
The only (spiritual) water I'm interested is the River of Life and I'm already in there. Not sure what water you're talking about, but your lack of candor about what you're talking about is suspect.
Some of the elements of the "water" I'm inviting you in to include:
- Christian education. The future belongs to those who are willing to invest in it.
- Christian education. The future belongs to those who do not render unto Caesar that which is God's -- their children.
- Reformed theology. On the Protestant side of the equation, the Calvinists have cornered the market on Christian world view thinking and writing. The pietists are still trying to use an intensified navel view substitute for a world view. An ounce of obedience is worth a pound of experience. Those who choose experience over obedience end up getting hornswoggled by various fake "revival" movements, like the Todd Bentley dog and poney show.
- Post-millennialism. The future belongs to those who are confident that, thanks to the power, presence, and prescience of God, they actually have a future to work for!
Millions of families are raising the next generation at home, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. These children are learning to think more clearly, and live more holy, than their parents. God's hand of blessing is upon this movement, and the best is yet to come! (see my tagline)
