SANTIAGO. - The Government has decided to expel from the national territory the Dutch citizen Joren Van der Sloot, who is accused of committing a crime against a young person in Peru, and also is tied with the disappearance of another woman on the Caribbean island of Aruba.
Police sources confirmed to Emol that the decision was decided by the Interior Ministry on the basis of norms of extranjería. On how he will be deported, radio Bío Bío indicates that it will occur tomorrow morning day in a joint activity between Chile and Peru. In such activity, Van der Sloot will be put at the border with the neighboring country, that through their Interior Ministry, guaranteed that he will be stopped when he enters the country. This is developing news.
Tomorrow.
I expel a Joran van der Sloot every morning.
Good one!
Good one!
So good I had to post twice (and then comment on it)!
Gotta like how they do it down there - no deportation hearing. no extradition hearing. no anything. You just get “expelled”. It’s the way it should work for non-citizens, IMHO.
National Border...those countries must be racist. /sarc
Can't wait for the punk to be put in a Peruvian Prison where HIV and other such nasty conditions are common.
Joran is going to love using the open hole in the ground as his toilet. No privacy either.
Joren is in deep doo doo and is about to pay the piper for the rest of his life.
I have a sneaky suspicion the bathroom accommodations will be the last thing on his mind. In fact, I'm quite sure he's going to be thinking about how to not unbutton his pants.
I don't want to give anything away for the people who want to wait until the movie comes out, but I imagine Joran's going to be playing a whole lot of house - sadly for him, he's going to be the wife, and not the husband.
Hope Van Der Sloot is having a fun time answering questions for the Chilean Police....And Prepared for “Intense” Questioning by the Peruvians...... Enjoy the rest of your miserable life Joran...
BTW, the reporter from Peru said Chili LE will take Joran to the Border and FORCED to cross it on his own.
Now, that's what I want to see.
Could they be setting it up so he’ll try to flee, and they’ll be ‘forced’ to shoot him? I just can’t imagine anybody who’s done what Joran has done willingly walking into the custody of the Peruvian police. What am I missing?
No. This is done all the time, in a lot of countries who share common borders, especially in South America.
They'll "release him" in a fenced area, like you'd find at any typical border crossing checkpoint. There will be no where for him to run, other than to the Peruvian guards.
Thanks for explaining that. The concept didn’t make sense before, but now I get it. Much appreciated!
does Peru have the death penalty ?
“There’s a death penalty for treason “
So why can’t we have this??
