Sarah made the right decision. Vander Plaats ran twice for the Governorship - in 2002 and 2006 - and lost both times. Once again we have 3 candidates in the field and only Branstad has the money and name recognition to compete. And he’s a solid conservative.

Branstad is the obvious choice unless some want the Democrat to win.

Plus, those who know Vander Platts know that he is completely bat shit crazy. And the guy hasn’t had a job in over TEN YEARS!. Branstad was president of Des Moines University School of Medicine while Vander Platts was doing nothing.
