Why is she endorsing all of these people? What’s in it for her?

No...He was way ahead anyway in the Primary and it’s obvious now that she is running for President, just like SC (Nikki Haley) NM (Martinez)...this is positioning to gain support in these crucial Primary states and block Mitt or Huckabee form major gains in those contests

I half expected Terry Branstad to be a female, what with all the “Girl Power” she’s been throwing around lately. But, I see that this Terry is indeed a male.

These Huckbots trashing Sarah Palin have no credibility. How often do we have to point this out? Mike Huckabee and Bob Vander Plaats are NOT conservatives.

well I guess like Devore the “only true conservative” in the race just lost another battle.

Palin conservatives seem to be winning and leading in an awful lot of elections. the “true conservatives” of Devore strip seems to be losing in most elections.

She’s a RINO lover, wake up and smell the coffee. We as FReepers need to stop overreacting at the latest “star”. There were so many posts proclaiming Scott Brown as the next Ronald Reagan and who’d he meet with day 1? Juan McCain, Sarah’s best bud.

In case you can’t get enough of Sarah Palin, there’s an episode of Mall Cop on TLC right now, featuring her booksigning visit to Mall of America in Minneapolis, last December.

Disappointing. She had no need to endorse any of them. She endorsed the most moderate candidate.

I'm disappointed with all 3 candidates. With all the people that live in this state; these are the 3 best candidates out there?

She stepped in it again?

Hardly. But you have.

PISSANT POLITICS RULE #1: When Duncan Hunter makes a questionable endorsement, shout from the rooftops that endorsements are completely meaningless.

PISSANT POLITICS RULE #2: When anyone BUT Duncan Hunter (especially an attractive female) makes a questionable endorsement, shout from the rooftops how important and meaningful endorsements are.

Okay, I just read Brandstad’s bio and don’t see anything that would make me question his conservative cred. In fact, I see he had the guts to go to war with the government parasite unions and has a 70% positive approval rating among Iowans.

Is this another case of our marginal goofballs preferring to tilt at windmills rather than simply win? I swear, some of my fellow (alleged) “tea partiers” are beginning to remind me more and more of the Libertarians. Hey, let’s nominate Andre Marrou to be our Republican candidate for President! Yeah, there’s a sure winner!

This is a typical DM Register leftist attempt at dividing conservatives. The Huckabee folks are all too eager to take the bait.

Speaking as an Iowan who has had to deal with Culver and Vilsack for the past dozen years, I want someone that will win. Branstad isn't a rafter rattling firebrand, but he is a proven winner. He will cut corporate taxes and property taxes. Vander Plaats will cut nothing because he will lose.

Vander Plaats has run twice already and lost. Seriously, the guy ain't going to catch on. He is only up by 5% on Culver right now, and the unions haven't even gotten geared up.

She stepped in it again?

pissant, I might have to tag you the Joe McGuinniss of FR.

Looks like she made the smart endorsement. The other guy is a two time loser backed by Huckaboob. The idea is to win the governorship back from the democrat.

I don’t want any more crap about you being a PDSer. I saw you defend Sarah when she endorsed ‘conservatives’.

New FR same as the old FR...and the former Bush nuts now claim no one can criticize anything Sarah does.

And they have this disconnect about how one can support a pol (like I do her) yet on occasion disagree with them.

They did the same with Bush in his second term when folks here were getting antsy over amnesty and now they have appropriated Sarah as their pet all over again....it does her no favors btw.

Too bad this go around. I think JR has been pretty clear on this and he likes Sarah too but if she picks someone less conservative to endorse then she can damn well hear about it here. (see the founder’s remarks on the Fiorina-DeVore clash and the fallout here)
