Knives, slingshots and night vision goggles indicate activists had less-than-peaceful goals.
The array of equipment found on board the ships that made up the Gaza aid flotilla was as divergent as the flotillas stated aims.
On the one hand there was medical equipment aimed to help ease the suffering of Gazas sick and handicapped, and on the other there were knives, slingshots and night vision goggles, which indicate hostile goals.
Israeli military officials have said that the amount of goods found on the ships are a drop in the sea compared to the amount of goods that regularly pass into Gaza, and extrapolated that it indicates that transfer of humanitarian assistance was not the top priority of the flotillas organizers.

It’s not WHAT was on the ship. It’s WHO was on the ship. There are 50 “passengers” with no identification, but wads of cash on them.
Because they are under the “guardianship” of the United Nations. Even though it claims to be a nation, “Palestine” is, in fact, a refugee group that’s supported completely by a UN mandate.
The slingshots and nightvision goggles are obviously for Gazans to hunt rats with...must put meat on the table. Oh, thats right....that would involve initiative. The hellhole that is Gaza was created and is maintained by the Arabs themselves.
Just like Palestinians detonating a bomb in an ambulance in Israel. Doesn’t make it any less innocent.
I knew things would go poorly when the Jews had to dig up the cemeteries as they vacated Gaza, to keep the Palies from defiling the bodies. The Arabs promptly destroyed anything of value the moment the Israelis left, then set up rockets to launch into Israeli civilian centers.
At least 40 are members of AQ and at least one other is a member of Hamas.
