You've posted the exact same comment on two threads now. I'd like to know where you ‘read’ your facts from, because I think you've just pulled them out of your butt.

Home invasion isn't even a category of crime in the UK - it's just burglary or robbery. I haven't heard of any cases where burglars have just rung someone’s doorbell, punched them in the face and then robbed them. I guess it must have happened somewhere, but it's hardly typical.

Home invasion is a more American kind of crime. Burglary is riskier when the chances are higher of being confronted by the home owner with a gun. Instead, call the home owner to their front door, shoot them dead on the spot and then steal from their house.
